I bought this for my PS3. I installed it and installed PS3 software. Perfect function thus far. PS3 runs much faster for load times and it's quiet. I now have a SSD in both of my PS3s.

price is good. but it freezes up frequently after I installed win 7 32bit into it.Thinking to get intel or crucial instead.

I had read a lot about the performance of a SSD, but the price just deterred me from buying one. When I saw this hit under $100 I did not hesitate to jump on this deal. When I got this and installed it, man, why did I hesitate to buy a SSD? It has definitely been the best improvement to my desktop. I have a fairly recent desktop, built three years ago, but has been frequently maintained for maximum performance. I build my desktop mainly for gaming, but has been retired to mainly serve as a workstation.Installing my operating system on this SSD cut down the boot and shut down times significantly. It starts up in less than a minute, about the same time it takes my ipod touch to start up. Even opening up my firefox browser takes a mere second to open. I have no regrets buying this.The only downside is the limited space. For this price, you can buy anywhere from 2TB to 6TB hard drives. I use this SSD for my operating system and all frequently run programs such as photoshop, microsoft word, itunes, etc. I then use two normal hard drives as storage for all my documents, music, videos, etc. This format works really well for me.
