1SuperTalent has no "Talent" for customer Service
By ...
After a few month of use, my Super Talent 1.8" 128GB DuraDrive (not so "durable" apparently) ZT2 ZIF Solid State Drive (MLC) FZM28GW18P developed a problem...I'd used it as an upgrade to my mp3 player's IDE drive, via an adaptor; an iRiver H140. Many of you will know what a wonderful player that is. With Rockbox Firmware and 128GB formatted to FAT32 its a wonderfully spacious media player and huge media library.Something went wrong however, and the "durability" of this "DuraDrive" came into question. The partition stopped showing up. So I opened the device, and looked at the drive bay where the upgrade was installed, and to my surprise, under normal use with no misuse or falls or dropping to jostle the SSD (which had even been secured with double sided foam sticky tape for security...) the connector's solder joints had come undone from the SSD's Printed Circuit Board. When I tried to contact SuperTalent for an RMA for Warranty Repair/Replacement, I was greeted with a nightmare of ineptitude, rudeness, and ultimately told the product was broken and therfore ineligable for an RMA for Warrant Repair. This device Carries a 2 year Manufacturer Warranty. I was shocked. I had done nothing wrong to the device. I was being denied Warranty Serivice, what a joke. So I asked what about an RMA for NON-Warranty Repair, because at this point, I just wanted my $225.00 investement in the SSD to not go to waste, and the drive to be repaired. I was told they DO NO OFFER "non-warranty repair". Period. So it seems to me that the twenty or so (yes!) were a game for them to get out of honoring their 2-year manufacturer warranty.I can not in good conscience reccomend that anyone purchase an item from SuperTalent.

5PATA not SATA
By Dave F
It looks like a fine drive, but wouldn't work in my early MacBook Air.This is a 40 pin PATA drive compatible with the MacBook Air A1237. It is NOT compatible with the MacBook Air A1304 which requires the 28 pin SATA drive.

5Great for original A1237 MacBook Air
By David Barry Lane
Purchased this to replace the failed hard drive in my A1237 MacBook Air. While I did see a improvement in the boot time there was no real noticeable speed increase, but I mainly use the computer for web surfing so I didn't expect one. The biggest improvement I found was the battery life increased even though my battery is original to the computer and I am very happy with that.
