This is a great SSD if you were living in ca. 2008. Lion recognizes the drive as Apple SM128 (by contrast the version on the latest macbook air is Apple SM128E or F). What the seller conveniently doesn't tell you is that the drive was manufactured in 2010.01.06 (not visible really from the product pixellated images) and these were apparently the OEM drives shipped with the original MBA (2008) until maybe rev B (2009). Although the seller claims these are brand new and used for system integrators, the product itself came in an open anti-static bag. Whether these products were cannibalized off of old MBAs is an open question. In terms of performance (xbench), the SSD on a MBA rev B is faster than a Western Digital 320GB 7200 RPM HDD on a Macbook 4,1 (early 2008). But the newer SSDs are 3 or 4x faster than this product. But if you are on the market for a 1.8 inch SSD for your aging Macbook air, this may not be a bad choice if only this wasn't pricier considering this is quite an old version and also the exorbitant shipping (29.99+19.99 for Asia) if you live outside of North America.
