Long story short, major problems: the drive crashes (causing blue screen of death in Windows) and then the only way to recover is top fully power down your PC (until you fully power it down, every reboot just results in "Insert System Disk" at the BIOS). It happens to me at least once a day. There's a lot of talk of similar problems over at the Corsair forum, and the 120GB version is being recalled.I posted something constructive on the forum, but it got taken down without explanation (UPDATE Aug 14th 2011: my post actually got moved to a separate thread, which is fair enough)So here I am to warn people about it - I'll happily update this review if I get a resolution (the next thing for me to try is replacing the SATA cable).(UPDATE Aug 14th 2011: new 1.3 firmware does not solve my issues, still need to try replacing the SATA cable, but that isn't a "real" fix).

This SSD is a very solid device. I've used it for about six months now without much difficulty. I had some trouble initially, but that was because my ASUS P8P67 Pro MOBO was having a hard time recognizing the device. That issue was eventually worked out. I've used the drive for the OS and one or two games that I play a lot. The speed is excellent and I'm impressed with the load time for games I have installed on this drive as compared to those I have on my standard HDD. As a side note, an SSD does not really improve your gaming frame rate at all; just load times. The only issue I have is that there isn't enough room on the drive itself. If I could go back and do it again, I'd opt for a 120GB SSD (and I will probably get one soon anyway). All in all this device has worked well for six months and I have no real complaints about the product itself. I'd recommend this to anyone who isn't concerned about SSD space. Make sure you have a large standard HDD to go along with this item, because you WILL run out of space quickly if you try to use this drive as your sole HDD.

This drive has the major issues. This is reported by many people around the net and on Corsair forums. Most have problems with getting BSOD after sleep. And there is no workaround. 120 Gb model based on same chipset was recalled.I am having the same problem - my laptop BSODs and reboots after wakeup. I am returning this drive for refund. Two stars not one because that would be a great product but major problems spoil it all.
