I am using the SSD in an old 2007 macbook. I figure since I'm on SATA 1 it wouldn't make a difference if I get this compared to the new SATA III drives.I have been using it for a few weeks already. There hasn't been any problems so far. I read varies reviews. Hopefully this drive will last me for the years to come. Every since I have installed the drive. I love it. I love the fast response times. Everything just feels snappier. I didn't realize how much enjoyable my computing experience is with this drive. I think I have the lastest firmware on this drive so it's running fine. This drive uses Indilinx instead of sandforce. I am not sure what difference it makes. I don't really care too much on having the fastest SSD. For someone who is looking for a affordable drive that works a lot better than a traditional HD this might be the solution for you.
