Updated review (3/20/2013):My laptop starts hanging. Hard disk not responding. Restart indicates hard disk not found. Disk feels really hot. After a little time to cool down, the disk becomes available again. Started out just once a week, now it happens several times per day. Need to replace the disk. No data corruption ... yet.Initial review (1/2/2013):Compared the different drives up to the Samsung 840 Pro. The Corsair GTX 480 is almost as fast as the Samsung, but was $100 cheaper. Now I would go with the Samsung... because its bigger and faster.

I build computers for a living, I have a shop and I fix them also. I use Corsair Cases, Corsair RAM, Corsair SSDs, Corsair closed loop cooling, Corsair speakers, and last but not least Corsair PSUs. I spent alot of money with this company for a reason. They are rock solid. Everything they make is top notch and they stand behind their products. If you buy something for a desktop Computer look to Crsair, you wont be disappointed.

I HAVE 240 GB THIS HDD AND IT WAS GOOD, BUT I BOUGHT ONE FROM DIRECTLY CORSAIR BECAUSE THIS SSD WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT AMAZON.TODAY IS 11/2/2012 I ORDERED THIS DRIVE ON 22ND OF LAST MONTH AND IT WAS CLEARLY WRITTEN ABOUT 4-6 DAYS TO ARRIVE . HOPE THE CORSAIR GUYS WILL ALSO READ THIS .REALLY MY LOTS OF PROJECT WORK HANGED BECAUSE OF THEIR IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR. REALLY FEELING VERY FRUSTRATED.THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS HORRIBLE AND RUDE.Hi All,After using this drive for almost one year , I like to give the review about this product-I agree with some other buyers that initially i was having problem with drive and after some time after fixing the issue its really very very fast and perfect drive. I have some concerns about temperature of this drive but I hope that company have already tested this situation .I recommend that drive's outer case must be little more high quality material.Till now its working blazing fast.I have increased one more star because of its performance but still not happy with Corsair customer service.
