I bought this SSD after returning a different brand. That one did not work because of compatibility issues. This one works perfectly in the Dell Mini 9. I just had to snap off the extra piece of pc board at the top so it would fit correctly in the system and then the system turned on normally and I was able to install Windows Vista Ultimate on it (the only OS I had laying around, but it works).

!!! WARNING !!! Don't buy KINGSPEC !!! WARNING !!!I bought a 128 GB Kingspec, and used for about a year when suddenlythe bios start to show up to I have some 32MB HDD, of course non information hasbeen able to be retrieved.In the normal world a simple upgrade of the firmware of the controller will fix thisminor problem, but not if you have KingspecAfter a long and painful search almost every where in internet in a hundreds forums and sites about SDD and firmwares I found this is not possible...Unfortunately Kingspec is one of the "idiotic" company that didn't provide a supportor issued periodic updates of the firmware of his products.YOU HAS BEEN WARN !!!

Nothing much to say. You can find install instructions with a little bit of search engine-fu. With that, it took literally a minute to remove the old drive and install this one. Works as advertised. A big step up over Dell's 8GB original SSD. My only gripe is that it arrived one day after the scheduled delivery window.
