I bought two of these in December of last year for gaming rigs for my boyfriend and myself. They ran beautifully...while they ran. After a few days of increasingly worsening problems, mine died completely. Almost exactly a month later, my boyfriend's did the exact same thing, though over the course of a single day.I will say that the RMA process is relatively simple. The whole thing took less than two weeks. However, it's still not a process I wish to repeat every six months. These are cheaper for a reason. If you're going to spend extra for an SSD anyway, you may as well go with an Intel.

got it for $145 on a black friday special. Ran great and fast for 7 months. Failed without warning, lost everything (which for me was nothing but OS and programs, I never trusted my data on one of these anyways)

Dead without warning after a year of minor usage just for documents. All my job, study and all my life gone with it. I had the latest firmware on it but it doesn't help much.
