These drives are very fast, too bad they don't last long. Have a 16GB that is 1 year old (still has a year of warranty left) and they will not replace it. Unless you order directly from their site in Hong Kong, you basically get zero warranty. I will never purchase runcore products again.

I have the Dell Mini12 and I do not recommend it for Linux users, or users that like to upgrade. That being said, I really am happy with the SSD when it finally arrived. Best price found was for the APPLE version, go figure that one! Have to reformat before installing, Mini12 did not want to boot with the SSD formatted for APPLE. Installed old drive in supplied case and using it for external drive. Boot time from Bios screen is 25 seconds, shuts down in 6-7 seconds. Machine really flies with this SSD, too bad that is the only upgrade for the Dell Mini12.

My MBA was getting a little long in the tooth. I use it almost every day and love it for its light weight, decent screen, and keyboard; the drive was letting me down, however. After much research I decided to get this SSD and am quite happy that I did. I've worked a fair bit on laptops, but I still think that the install with some help from ifixit is pretty straight-forward. Decent instructions, an enclosure for the original drive, and cloning software are included. 32GB is more than enough for the OS (I'm running Snow Leopard), Microsoft Office, all my documents, and some music. It's not huge, but for the price it's more than enough. In terms of performance, the machine boots to login in 30 seconds -vs- over a minute with the stock drive, and it wakes from sleep nearly instantly. The Xbench scores have increased 24% overall. I've had the drive installed for nearly a month and have had no issues. This drive has extended the life of this 5-year old machine for another couple of years.
