So... I have recommended these for a number of customers when the switch to W7. Especially if the had performance concerns before. In many cases if you look at the task manager in windows and see plenty of free memory and the CPU usage is below 80% it's disk bound. That means the OS is constantly waiting on data from the disk.Highly recommended! While the absolute data rates on the Intels' may look slower because of the optimizations they feel faster. it's not max sequential speed that maters... it random small reads and writes. No one beats the Intel SSDs in that. I have tried many but still pay the extra 10% or so for the Intel. One of my customers said it best... The computer becomes invisible and lets me work.

I have used this SSD in three different computers now and it worked amazingly in each one. I've had it in a 2009 MacBook Pro, 2010 MacBook Pro, and now a 2009 MacBook (which is actually a ModBook). I tested the boot times with each swap out and there is a huge difference, about 40 seconds. Programs load faster, files save faster. It is simply an awesome SSD. I'm not sure how the newer versions of this SSD compares. Other reviewers or websites can tell you about the differences in controllers, read/write technology, etc., but as far as I'm concerned, so long as it's an Intel SSD, probably won't be going wrong by buying one. It works and it's fast. Good enough for me.
