Product Description
The PNY Prevail Elite SSD is an enterprise class storage drive with low power operation and a flash endurance rating of 10K Program/Erase cycles to make the ideal storage drive for server and networking deployments. These drives feature a 2.5" SATA III, 6Gbps interface, support 256-bit AES encryption and Secure Erase. Prevail Elite SSDs are powered by SandForce 2282 controllers, offering up to 550MB/s seq. read, 520MB/s seq. write speeds, and 85,000 random read/write IOPS.

However, from the benchmark I ran, its write speed is far below what is advertised. I was hoping for around 400 MB/s but 150 MB/s is a far cry from the advertised 515 MB/S.On another note, finding information on the firmware on pny's website has been difficult. And I still do not know whether they will be further updates on the drives firmware.As for reliability, only time will tell. 3 days of use so far and its still running strong.
