I really like these Samsung SSD drives. Just like all SSDs they're super fast, but I chose these ones after careful research to determine average customer response -- effectively MTBF based on customer angst. These Samsungs are rock solid, we have over 40 of them in service right now and they're all ticking along perfectly.They look great (not that anyone can see them, but to my mind it speaks to the attention to detail) and they are one of the most cost effective SSDs out there. I see some cheaper SSDs, but they're also accompanied by a chorus of wailing customers.I am very impressed by these SSDs.

Didn't buy this from here but wanted to share my thoughts.This drive is everything that you would expect and then some. The claims Samsung makes regarding this drive is right on the money. Speeds are consistent and battery life is vastly improved. I had imagined that the RAM upgrade I did on my laptop was going to be the main performance booster for internet browsing. I was surprised to see that the SSD improved on it further. Apps will load on my system in about .5 to 1 second. Heavier programs like Expression 4 take less than 5 (compared to having enough time to make a sandwich on my old 5400 RPM spinner).True, the 64GB size is somewhat limiting. However, if you are using this puppy on a laptop and offload your work to USB or SD then you'll have no problems. I wish that there was some sort of command; though, that would let you run TRIM in Windows 7 on your own. The Samsung Magician software is great; but as I understand it, it is not quite as effective as TRIM.Overall, you'll never want to go back to a mechanical drive again.
