1Fast, but failed.
By Dung Nguyen
I purchased the drive for my MacBook Pro (Core i7). Installation was a breeze. The performance improvement was significant compared to the 7200 RPM drive that came with the MBP.However, the drive has failed three times already and it's only 42 days old. Each time, the Apple Disk Utility was not able to repair and required a full re-format/re-partition of the drive. Thanks to a good set of backup from Time Machine, I can usually get it back running in about 3 hours or so.As this is my primary computer, this repeated failure is unacceptable. If you don't regularly backup your computer or need a reliable computer, STAY AWAY from this drive.I've already opened a RMA with Kingston, so hopefully a replacement drive will be better. However, from reading other complaints, I doubt it.Update:I got an advanced exchange RMA from Kingston. After just over two weeks of using the new drive, I had to go through the Reformat/Re-partition fun again. Either these drives are not compatible with the Core i7 MBP and Kingston doesn't tell me about it... or they're just awfully UNRELIABLE! Definitely stay away!!!

1Run Away. Run Far, Far Away!
By Biztekguy
SSD drives promised to be the answer for my sales team, who wanted an instant-on solution for their laptops. The drives also gave me greater confidence than the I had with mechanical drives. So I bought three of these Kingston drives. The imaging kit made the transfer a breeze and the new drives were up and running in less than an hour.Within two weeks of installation, two of the drives failed catastrophically with no warning. In each case, the users merely shut down and rebooted. Upon reboot, there was no hard drive found. I'm not going to wait for the third one to fail. I'm replacing it with another brand.Kingston tech support and warranty repair proudly noted that their drives only fail 1% of the time. In the IT world, that is unacceptably high. My experience of 66.6% is a disaster.

1Failed within 10 days
By Kuriakose
With the bundled cloning software I cloned existing 100GB disk and was up and running in an hour with new SSD. Windows was booting up much faster. But, SSD failed within 10 days. Windows crashed with a blue screen, and later it never able to read the disk. Pulled SSD out and tried on other computer, but no luck. Lost all data. Read similar experience from others, but never thought it could be this bad. This is an absolutely bad product.
