Bought this solid state drive after doing a lot of research online. I wanted a top-tier 120GB SSD that was fast, reliable, and would be future proof so that I could use it on a future computer. However, I had a budget of $200. When Black Friday rolled around, the price of this drive dropped to $210, one of the best values I could find for this kind of performance. I decided to pull the trigger and give this drive a try.(Other drives I considered getting were the Kingston HyperX, Crucial M4, and Corsair Performance GT SSDs, but according to benchmarks these drives were on a lower tier than the Chronos Deluxe. The Patriot Wildfire is comparable, but the price wasn't at the time of my purchase.)The packaging is extremely simple. SSD, enclosure, and screws in a small baggie all tightly packed in a simple cardboard case. Very minimalistic and very efficient.The installation procedure was standard. I used Carbon Copy Cloner with an external enclosure to clone my HDD contents on my new SSD. Swapped the two drives and booted up!I was blown away by the immediate performance boost. Prior to installing this SSD, it took approximately 90 seconds from cold start to being able to launch a program. After installing, the time was shaved to 20 seconds.A key reason why I considered purchasing an SSD was to improve my gaming experience, and it did not disappoint. Starcraft II loads extremely quickly (less than five seconds), navigation is very snappy, and best of all I'm finally able to use Spotify while playing a game without my computer lagging or hearing a mechanical disk drive spin like crazy.I am very, very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this product to those looking for a high quality SSD.

First off, i have never owned a product by Mushkin. I have read so many good reviews about mushkin products, and i figured i would give it a shot. This was my first ssd, and i was always contemplating buying this one or the vertex 3. but i hear so many negative things about the vertex 3, (not to say id have the same problems) that i just didn't want to risk the drama with my very first ssd boot drive. Im very glad i chose this drive, mushkin has earned another loyal customer, and im very happy with this drive. This drive is so amazingly priced now with the specs it has, i can see why its been selling out constantly. It took awhile for my drive to get in, but i perfectly understand the demand, and was very excited to see that it had shipped. The drive is DAMN fast, and i just love comparing it to my hard drive side by side, its quite amusing. This drive puts a big smile on my face as im working within windows 7, and i strongly recommend this drive to any person who is looking to get an SSD. Thank you Mushkin, i will be buying from you again :)

This SSD is fast and fast, very stable, i bought this SSD 1 year ago and I updated the firmware to the last version (5.0.4), with Intel drivers 11.7.0.1013, zero troubles by here...
