Patriot Memory is out of the SSD business. These are left-over obsolete stock with prices that are left-over from 3 years ago. Amazon should just admit defeat on these and close them out for $50 which is about what an obsolete SATA-II discontinued drive is worth.

Don't waste your money on this piece of junk, they don't last long. The first one I got worked great for 6 weeks then totally died. I got it replaced under warranty and the second one lasted just 1 1/2 days then got so slow it wouldn't boot anymore. Switched back to my old 1Tb WD drive and it runs great!
