I put this in a new PC I built with parts bought from Amazon and it's been trouble free so far. As far as performance, I am very happy with it. I didn't bother to do any kind of measuring actual speed because as far as I am concerned, this is so much faster than mechanical HDDs I could careless if it doesn't get the top transfer rate or whatever since I am just using it on a home computer. For some subjective measurements, windows 7 boots up so fast the animation could barely finish half way. Wake up from sleep is so fast it's literally hit the button and ready to login. It was so cool that I could do a full windows 7 64-bit fresh install in 20 minutes or so.This SSD is always reporting a temperature of 40 degree C so I don't think it's accurate, however, I've ran it under load and touched its outside and it feels cool. And finally, I am thrilled that I no longer have to listen to the whirling and clicking sound of a mechanical HDD. I used to be able to tell that my PC is on because of the HDD noise, but now I can't tell if it's on or not because it's basically silent. The only way I could tell is from the slow spinning side case fan or the power LED.Given that I've heard people complained about BSODs and unreliability on other SSDs, I am happy to say that after 3 months of daily uses it's still trouble free. Crossing my fingers.
