Picked this SSD up for my new desktop build as it was a great deal. 160 dollars at this time (2/22/2013).Popped it into my machine, installed Windows 7, did all my updates, and ran some benchmarks. Sequential Read speed is about 490MB and Write was 290 or so. I'm a little disappointed in the write speeds as it's rated over 500 and it performs worse than the Samsung 830 that I have in my laptop. The Samsung 830 is rated lower for the speeds yet performs better in the actual benchmarks Overall though, I don't think I'll notice the difference and am happy with it. Time will tell if that stays the same.I also got the 2 extra years of warranty for a total of 5 upon registration. I'm giving it 4/5 as the write speeds are well off what the maximum claim is.

I got this drive at my office from delivery guy today (Jan. 29, 2013) but after hooking it up to my computer, I've found something was wrong. My computer couldn't recognize it at all. (I have bought several SSDs but this never happened before.) So I tried other desktops in other offices in the building but failed to recognize it. I will send it back to Amazon tomorrow and will try the same drive again when Amazon sends out the replacement.Update after getting replacement:The drive does work fine with my laptop (Toshiba L850) and the speed is simply amazing. So I've changed the rating from one star to three stars.
