I have had this SSD for one year now. Used it to replace the stock Samsung 60 GB 4200 RPM (sloooow) in my Khojinsha SX3. Right off the bat the machine was faster and the battery life got prolongued 30+ minutes. Everything was faster: booting, launching apps. I was getting the occasional lock-ups but I attributed them to Windows 7 or driver issues. At the beginning these lockups happened after 2-3 hours of running but over time they started to occur at lower intervals until the machine became practically unusable: it would freeze after 10 minutes. I would like to point out that I did not abuse the machine at all as I have others for heavier use. The machine was used mostly for Internet browsing and occasional movie watching (DVD or portable HDD). The old HDD is back and the fancy SSD is out in its external enclosure collecting dust. My machine is slower, battery life shorter but at least it runs and does not lock up anymore. $163 down the drain.Conclusion: DO NOT BUY RunCore, RUN from RunCore. My RunCore SSD became unusable (freezes the machine after 10 minutes) after 8-9 months of mild use.

Faster than the old drive. Had some issues getting OS loaded but that was not a problem with the ssd.

Needed a storage upgrade for a Dell D430 laptop who had a disk, slow to begin with, that was having problems. I didn't need a lot of storage, so the 32GB will do just fine. Since the disk was going bad anyway, its hard to say how much improvement there would be over a 4200RPM disk, but it is certainly very snappy now. Could partially be the reinstall of the OS, of course, but we'll see. If it lasts the length of the warranty, everyone who uses that laptop will be very happy. Easy to install if you just see how the old disk was attached; it is certainly a strange "connector". Having the external USB case included to put the old disk in was a big plus since I could pull over files in case I forgot something.
