Not sure why this hard drive got such a bad review but I took a chance and bought it becasue it was 50/50. Knowing what I know about computer/building I figured what did I have to loose. I lost nothing, but gained one of the fastest responding hard drive I'd ever installed. It boots up super fast and reads/writes excellent. I went up from a mechanical Seagate Sata III 7200rpm to this kingston SSD and the WEI score went from 5.9 to 7.6. A huge difference. The kingston drive only missed the top score by .3 For the price you just can't beat the performance. The only thing I would caution is make sure your motherboard supports it and you have some additonal storage for back up. This unit is 128G out of the box and after I installed W7 64bit, Office PRO 2010 and some additional drivers I have approx 80gigs left. But again, the speed is EXCELLENT. Comes with everything you need in the box to mount it internally or use it as a portable drive.Have no fear when buying this. Just make sure you have some computer knowledge of building and some troubleshooting skills if you get in a jam.......Have fun....................................

Installation was pretty straight forward and my system boot time has gone from about 1:25 (to get to where I'm logged in and the desktop is ready to use) to 37 seconds. Nice improvement.The included drive clone software worked just fine.

Wish I could afford a larger one. Simple, quick, easy install and ghosting. Quick delivery, great materials to help get everything going.
