4Kingston SSD now
By Gun4hire
Works like a charm, but most likely wont notice much in the way of speed, though windows does boot and start faster. I often realizing that it's done with start up and waiting on me due to the fact I'm used to waiting a little longer. It installed easily enough, and the cloning software couldn't be any more straight forward, but it comes with a how-to dvd if you are still uncertain about how to go about the cloning. The Best thing about this drive is it is so much cooler running, and in a netbook that means a lot if you can drop the operating temp down.Kingston lives up to its reputation for making some of the best memory out there for a reasonable price. I have not had any real issues other than after the cloning (and this is probably due to having a lot on my drive) a few errors accrued on the new drive but a check disk quickly found the errors and corrected them. Also do note that this is not Kingston's high end model, but more like their standard SSD but still out performs most standard disk drives on low to medium grade laptops.

1Worked for 2 months, now it works.. WHEN IT WANTS TO
By Jason J Chapman
This was my first SSD. The increase in boot times, seek times, read/write speeds was much improved over my Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 2 TB Drive. However, it worked for less than 2 months and I started noticing issues! After rebooting on one occurence, the drive simply disappeared in the BIOS. It would not post. Not a connection problem, not an SATA config issue. Since it was my boot device, and it was not posting when connected internally, I COULD NOT BOOT. I used an external enclosure that was included with the desktop/notebook upgrade bundle on my laptop.. worked fine!? SO frustrating. Left it alone overnight, works fine in the morning?? Happened to me two times.Just did a clean install this weekend with a Kingston HyperX 3K 240 GB Solid State Drive as the boot device, program files running on the SSDNow V200.. failed to post the drive after resuming Windows tonight. Now I can't get it to post again! Once again, everything works fine when connected via the external enclosure and USB cable. I had taken it to a computer shop (a lowly admission for a self-proclaimed PC enthusiast/do-it-yourself-er) it tested out fine. I looked like an idiot, of course, but that's beside the point..My suggestion? AVOID THIS PRODUCT. Mine is not fundamentally defective because it will post when it wants to and always works external. The hyperX 3K is a far superior drive and is in fact CHEAPER.

3Worked for 3 months
By R. A. Mattos
I bought this on feb 16 2012 and in the last few days the drive started giving me blue screen errors about a minute after full boot. Emailed Kingston tech support and they are going to send me a different model. The cloning software worked really easy and surprisingly fast. Very user friendlyThe external hdd adapter takes a little getting used to. The plastic does seem like if it gets dropped it will crack. And the adapter is just a plastic ring that adheres to the ssd. I have no clue if they will send another one back with my replacement.
